How it works

Below is a description of the Wastewater Engineers Inc. process for treating wastewater:

 

 

Stage One:

The RT Reactor is filled with effluent. The turbine mixer is started and Reactant Powder is added. After about (5) minutes of mixing a large floc will form. The mixer is stopped and settling of the floc begins.

 

 

 

Stage Two:

Once the settling has finished, draining and filtering begins. Clarified water from the upper area is drained first, followed by the floc. Filter media captures the floc, now sludge, allowing the clarified water through to a clean compartment. A discharge pump automatically transfers the cleaned fluid to sewer or recycling vessel.

 

 

Stage Three:

An automated conveyor advances the filter media and sludge as needed. An included self-tipping gondola captures the filter media and sludge for disposal. The sludge dries to a cake, without need of a filter press. The water is ready for re-use or discharge to sewer and the sludge can be disposed of to landfill.

The entire process takes 30 minutes, yet requires only 10 minutes of attendance per batch, regardless of batch size.
